As a matter of fact, the game goes a little bit slower in here compared to internet, because the cards have to be packed and delivered by a real person. Many card rooms have their own rules, and you always have to be sure about your actions. For example, in tournaments with low bets or rookie evenings you can be asked to deliver cards to all the table and yourself.
The players
The number of players might vary from two (known as heads-up) to ten in one table tournaments and games with money. In tournaments with a big number of tables, the number of players can be unlimited; well the organizers can adjust a limited number of players. In many tournaments the number of players is far higher than a thousand. As a rule, tournaments, on which ten player participate, the three top players split the prize fond, usually 50% for the first place, 30% for the second place and 20% for the third place.
